Before you complain, we are NOT spending a great deal of time on this page. 
We might when it gets cold and snowy, and we don't feel like going outside anymore. Maybe.

This is a very selected list. At this point, open mikes in Boston, New York City, and their suburbs, are just starting to be included.  We'll add more of them someday. 

The listings are incomplete. If you have attended one of these open mikes, we would welcome information on the venue, the start/end times of the open mike, any PA equipment available, and the type of music the audience wants to hear. questions [at] ctlocalbands [dot] com

Monday

Rob Sanzone is the host, a performer, and one of the soundmen running the mixing board. The signup sheet for the open mike goes out at 7:00pm. Time slots are 10 minutes. There are only 11 time slots. Multi channel powered mixing board, four 12 inch speakers, two 12 inch floor monitors, direct box on stage, 3 vocal mikes w/ stands and cables, and some mikes for amps, etc. Instrument cables, guitar amp, drum kit, and bass amp available. Third Saturday of each month.  Andy Rice is the host, and a performer. Sign up sheet at the open mike.  Acoustic music preferred, electric okay if you watch your volume. Small multi-channel PA mixer. Two 12 inch speakers. Two microphones with stands and instrument cables provided. Performance space is next to the bar, right across from the door. You are very close to the audience. The audience is pretty quiet. They're there to listen. Coffee drinks and pastries available. There is not much on-street parking if the theater across the street has a show.   914-739-1287
